The Courses

The 5K and 10K BOTH start together at 11:00 a.m. The course is mostly flat as it winds through the quaint neighborhood of Pawtucketville. We’ll have traffic control at major intersections, mile markers, water stops, and emergency vehicles on standby. Check out the course maps below to get an idea of what the run will be like!

The After Party

There’s no better way to finish a brisk morning run than with an awesome after-party! All First Run 5K & 10K participants are allowed one FREE game of bowling (shoes included!) between the hours of 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Bowlero Lowell.

To add a little New Year’s fun, there will be delicious pizza, mimosas, and craft beer for 21+ runners to enjoy!

The best part? It’s all included with your registration!

Packet Pickup

Early packet pick-up will be held on December 31st, 2023. Times and location are TBD. Participants are encouraged to pick up their bib at early packet pickup to make for a less stressful race morning. Can’t make it to early packet pick-up? No worries! Day of packet pick-up on Sunday, January 1st, 2024 will be offered at Bowlero Lowell from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. You will receive your bib and full-zip hoodie at packet pickup and your finisher’s medal at the finish! Fleeces won’t be mailed out after the event if you don’t pick yours up, so don’t oversleep!

If you plan on picking your bib up the day of the race, please arrive no later than 9:45 AM to ensure you have enough time to park, check-in, and stretch before the 11:00 AM start. There’s plenty of parking at the 1001 Pawtucket Blvd lot.

Save time on packet pickup by adding on packet mailing at registration! Already registered? Don’t worry! You can add it on through your EnMotive account. Please note, we are unable to mail out packets after the packet mailing deadline has passed.

Parking

NOTICE: Set your GPS to 1001 Pawtucket Boulevard, Lowell, MA 01854. This is the approved parking location for all participants. There will not be parking available at Bowlero. Please do not park at the nearby Market Basket and Marshalls.

Results and Photos

AWARDS

For both the 5K and 10K, awards with be given to the top three overall male and female runners and to the overall male and females winners in each age group: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. There will not be an awards ceremony or tent at the event. ALL awards will be mailed out to division winners after the event!
